There is a crisis in apprenticeships and TAFE - hardly a week passes without reports of plummeting apprenticeship numbers or for-profit private providers rorting funding or ripping off students. Yet the crisis continues.
While public debate focuses on who is to blame and individual fixes, what is being missed is the big picture of a broken system that is not only negatively impacting apprentices, but also all workers.
